Four basic type of hearing protection

There are four basic type of hearing protection that are very common to factory workers. All of hearing protection can prevent from hearing loss whether it is low or high level of damage. Eventhough there is difference in size but each type has their own features and uniqueness that we must take note.

Hearing protection that we wear at the back or inside our ear can be contain by fussy tecnology , more power amplifier and
increase it's toughness and durability.

Behind-The-Ear (BTE)

This behind the ear (BTE) hearing protection contain component that are install in the plastic cover, hanging behind ear. Sound that has been amplified will flow in a transparent plastic tube to ear mould. Eventough this models has been design a decade ago, it can be as best as technology these day by adding some fussy technology to the basic idea of this type of hearing protection.For example, there is more smaller size of hearing protection aid this day. Actually, there is a bigger room to include more electric circuit and to amplify sound compared to type In-The-Ear (ITE). This BTE type also has longer lasting duration and others has waterproof features.

In-The-Ear (ITE)

In-The-Ear (ITE) hearing protection aid has provide its component into special ear mould that has been design following the shape of the outer side ear. Size and easy to control also help people that has slow hand movement.

In-The-Canal (ITC)

In-The-Canal (ITC) hearing protection aid is the smallest, with ear mould has been load into the ear canal and other small area can be seen outside the ear. It's look like small but still can see at the outer side of ear.

Completely-In-The-Canal (CIC)

The new generation of hearing protection aid is Completely-In-The-Canal (CIC). It is almost cannot be seen - until someone see into you ear. The only indicator of its exist is only the small plstic tube that you use to plug that equipment into you ear.
This type CIC is very popular because of its ecstatic attraction. But for some individual ( there has tight ear canal) make this type are not suitable to them.
